Walsingham Gallery’s Artist in Session Series presents a painting demonstration by artist, Beatrice Dauge-Kaufmann, on Saturday, June 23, from 3-7pm.

Connor Summers Gallery features the work of Newbury sculptor, Michael Updike, who has carved Summery imagery, including many fish, onto slate.

Indigo Artist Studio, 53 Middle Street; Artists Lillian Coolidge and Mary Arthur Pollak host West Coast jazz musician, Chuck Walker, on Saturday. Both artists’ work will be on display and the artists will be present to answer questions and talk about their art.

Firehouse Gallery, Market Square, in the Firehouse Center for the Arts, hosts artist Kimberly Meuse with a show of her spectacular floral watercolors. The artist’s reception is 4 – 6 PM on Saturday.

Valerie’s Gallery, 26 State Street—Come meet Collagraph Printmaker, Kathleen Buchanan. This show will feature a collection of new collagraph prints. They include seabirds inspired by her recent trip to Alaska and landscapes featuring mid-coast Maine and Acadia. She is constantly inspired by the coast of Maine in which she lives.

Sweethaven Studio and Gallery, 25 Inn Street, will feature the work of local weaver, Phyllis Sher. On display will be scarves, table runners and towels, all made from cotton, organic cotton and bamboo. Sweethaven Studio and Gallery is dedicated to the art of photography and features landscapes of Newburyport and Plum Island by photographer, Greg Nikas.

SPECIAL JUNE ARTWALK ADDITIONJohn Maciejowski will be showing his collection of twenty-five paintings in a contemporary impressionist style at Jewett Farms Studio, 58 Merrimac Street, Horton’s Yard. Wine & cheese reception.
