June ArtWalk Weekend: Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd

Newburyport is home to many artists, art lovers, and creative adventurers. Many artists have fallen in love with Newburyport and have made it their artistic home. With the subtle beauty of reflected light, the crisp salt air, acres of textured marsh, and architectural vignettes of earlier times, this area has become a magnet for painters, sculptors, photographers and the like for the same reasons that Rockport and Provincetown became art colonies in previous centuries. Many an art collection have begun with just one piece, whether a quiet painting of an autumn marsh or a brilliant print of lovers entwined...whatever your artistic passion, the Newburyport art scene is sure to have what you are looking for...
