Saturday, November 7th from 12-4 pm.
Gyotaku is the art of fish printing that originated in Japan centuries ago as a way of documenting the size of the catch. In modern times, gyotaku has evolved into an art. Kigel studied this method in Japan and will demonstrate the unique and rather involved process of this art form during Newburyport ArtWalk.
This event is free and open to the public.
Refreshments will be served. New works by the artist will be on display.
